Finescale 2" Burrell Special Scenic models
These models are based on the full-size Burrell works drawings held by Ron Dawe on behalf of the Road Locomotive Society. I am sad to report that Ron passed away on 1st December 2019 only a few days before what would have been his 89th birthday. Ron was the builder of several stunning 2" scale showman's engines. He was an inspiration to most model engineers and set new standards over many years. He had looked after the official Burrell build sheets for the last 16 years and was President of the RLS in 2005.
