3441 - WILLIAM IV - Built 1913 - William Murphy - Scrapped
First of two identical engines purchase new by William Murphy to power his Scenic ride. Delivered in February 1913 with his Scenic Motors. She was built new with brackets to carry an auxiliary dynamo but this was never fitted. This engine and her sister William V had a fabricated perch bracket instead of the normal casting. She was later sold to Anderton & Rowland. 3441 was a plain engine and was not fitted with twisted brass olivers.
